In the video "Ghetto Delta Airlines", race is portrayed through many aspects. First, the reversal of dialect from the black couple to the white announcer. Second, the dress of the black couple in the opening scene along with the image of the black girls butt and the black man drinking beer as soon as he is in the plane. Later, it shows the black man back home smoking a joint and continuing with the stereotypical dialect coming from the white announcer. Alot of slang terms are used throughout this video also. In the Everest College advertisement, race is portrayed first by having a black speaker, secondly by shooting the video at night outside of what seems to be a lower class parking complex, and by having the announcer speak and dress in a stereotypical way. The commercial is scripted although seems to be just rambling and targeting those people who seem to fit the same stereotype as the announcer. Both videos portray race in very stereotypical ways towards black people by mainly focusing on dialect and appearance.
